Configuration Management
AMS Policy Section 4.1
Configuration management applies to all systems, subsystems, equipment, components, and assets in the FAA Enterprise Architecture including software, firmware, interfaces, documentation, spare parts, and test equipment.

Configuration management includes configuration identification, baselining, change management, status accounting, verification, and audit.
Who Does It
Service organization manages the configuration of all assets within their service domain.
Who Approves
Document templates specify approval authorities.
