What Must be Done
Determine service needs and shortfalls; define requirements and alternative solutions; analyze business case to determine the best solution; plan for implementation and in-service management; obtain and deploy the solution; sustain operations and plan for the future.
Who Does It
Service teams and program offices determine service needs & shortfalls & also plan & execute investment programs.
Functional organizations assist throughout the AMS lifecycle. (See engineering and management practices)
Who Approves
