AMS Lifecycle Phase
Decision Criteria
- Operational capability demonstrated at key test site.
- Satisfactory operational test reports.
- Independent operational assessment for designated programs.
- Completed ISR Checklist.
- Approved safety risk management document.
- Information Systems Security Authorization.
- Stakeholder concurrence on readiness for in-service decision.
- ISD briefing and action plans.
Decision Results
- Authorizes deployment of the solution into the operational environment.
Who Does It
Service organization or program office presents the results of solution implementation.
ISD Secretariat manages the in-service decision-making process.
Who Approves
In-service decision authority makes the in-service decision.
Note:The in-service decision authority may terminate the investment program or return it to solution implementation for additional work.
