SGM Robert Yanez is a native of San Antonio, Texas. He enlisted in the Army in October 1992 and after attending Basic Training at Fort Jackson,
South Carolina, and Advance Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia, was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty 92A (Equipment Records
and Parts Specialist). In September of 2006 he reclassified into the 51C Acquisition Logistics and Technology (CMF), as a Contracting
Noncommissioned Officer. SGM Yanez has served in every leadership position from squad leader, Platoon Sergeant, and Senior Enlisted Advisor
at battalion and brigade levels, and has served one deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom 2007-2008.
