NAVADMIN 132/11: Termination of Authorized Voluntary Departure and Stop Movement for Dependents of Uniformed Service Members in Japan

Joint Support Force Message: On 14 April, 2011, the U.S. State Department lifted the voluntary departure order. At this time, Joint Support Force (JSF) is working out the details and will announce specifics as soon as Department of Defense guidance is finalized. In the meantime, entitlements previously described will continue. Family members will soon receive instructions on how to obtain return flights and proceed from their selected locations. We want to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible for our family members and are working to reunite them with their loved ones as soon as we can.

Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System (NFAAS)
All affected personnel are ordered to account, and complete an assessment if impacted by this event. If Sailors or their Families don't have access to a computer, they can call the 24-Hour Navy Emergency Coordination Center at: 1-877-414-5358.
