True labor pains are frequent and come at regular intervals. Women with previous rapid labors or those who live a long way from the hospital should arrange to come in promptly. Women having their first babies seldom need to hurry because their labors usually progress at a slower rate. Please make arrangements for care of other children before your due date. Phone the Nurse advice line at 288-8400 any time you are not sure whether or not you are in labor or if you have any condition which you think might be unusual.
