All Soldiers that complete 180 days or more of continuous Active Duty are eligible
for and must complete transition services with few exceptions.
Retirees will maintain eligibility for life.
Non-Retirees will remain eligible for 180 days after their separation date.
Family Member of Military Service Member
Family members of Soldiers are eligible for transition services and highly
encouraged to attend if their spouse is the eligible Soldier.
Family members of Other Uniformed Services (Marines, Navy, Air Force,
Coast Guard), receive services up to 180 days after your sponsor's retirement date.
Family members of a Non-Retired Veteran, receive services up to 180 days
after your sponsor's separation date.
Department of Army Civilians
Department of Army Civilians are eligible for transition services if they are subject
to Reduction in Force (RIF) or Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC).
