STUTTGART, Germany- An Army National Guard Helicopter task force completed the first aviation support rotation of its kind in Europe. The multi-state unit from Colorado, Kansas and Utah brought U.S. and allied special operations forces, in the Special Operations Command Europe area of responsibility, the ability to train from new heights, literally, from July to October 2016.

STUTTGART, Germany- During the month of August, Special Operations Command Europe and adjacent units conducted fast-rope insertion and extraction system training, and military free-fall with the support of an Army National Guard Helicopter Task force.

The EUCOM State Partnership Program links U.S. states with designated partner countries to promote access, enhance military capabilities, improve interoperability, and enhance the principles of responsible governance.

CAMP BONDSTEEL, Kosovo - The top eight Soldiers and non-commissioned officers, deployed to Kosovo, with the Multinational Battle Group-East (MNBG-E), came together on Camp Bondsteel to compete for the title of ‘Best Warrior’ July 9-10.

U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 133rd and 148th Civil Engineering Squadrons and 219th RED HORSE Squadron, along with members of the Croatian army, performed a renovation project along with unloading a much-needed donation of school supplies at an elementary school in Ogulin, Croatia.

Commander of the U.S. European Command U.S. Air Force Gen. Air National Guard Airmen from the Minnesota 133rd and 148th Civil Engineering Squadrons and Montana 219th Red Horse Squadron partnered with the Croatian Army June 20 through July 4, to renovate bathrooms at an elementary school in Ogulin, Croatia.

For three weeks, Moldovan engineers and soldiers of North Carolina National Guard’s 430th Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Company trained side by side and shared the latest tactics, techniques and procedures in eliminating landmine hazards in order to return the land to productive economic use and development.
