Advanced Design and Manufacturing - Electronic Design and Integration

imageThe Electronic Design and Integration Branch combines expertise in electrical/electronics engineering, and computer science to develop custom designs and prototypes including electronic circuit boards, electronic circuit analysis/simulation, software development, integration of sensors and the rapid development of electro-mechanical prototype systems.

 

Conceptual Design
The ability to prototype, design and deliver electronic solutions that meet customer goals has become proven capability of our team. Concurrent collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers allows for the development of designs and models varying from conceptual to actual.

 

Integrated Electro-Mechanical Design
Integrating our electro-mechanical design capability with current technology allows new design concepts and devices to be realized. For example, prototypes can be developed and made available for evaluation to determine the overall benefit to the warfighter. On-site capability of electronic circuit design, 3-D modeling; and circuit board layout software provide support services ranging from rapid prototyping to full program support integration. The electromechanical integration of specialized ChemBio payloads onto an unmanned robotic platform for hazard detection, collection and identification for military operations is a prime example of our capabilities.
