The DOD ESI has established multiple Enterprise Agreements for Oracle/Sun hardware and software support on behalf of the DoD ESI. These agreements were awarded with one base year and three option years. Products include Oracle/Sun hardware and software support, extended warranty, maintenance, education, incidental hardware and software, and system engineering and support services.

The SSTEW 2 BPAs were awarded non-competitively against GSA schedule with one base year and three option years. The BPA expiration dates are January 27, 2017 provided all option years are executed. It is the responsibility of the Ordering Officer to ensure compliance with all fiscal laws prior to issuing an order under a BPA, and to ensure that the vendor selected represents the best value for the requirement being ordered.(see FAR 8.404)

DOD Contractors are encouraged to use the ESI agreements when approved by their contracting officer in accordance with FAR 51.
