"It was nice to meet other UNT parents who had the same concerns about their kiddos as me."
"Wished we could have done more! Good selection of events, so we can't do it all."
"Thank you so much for providing such a fun time for my family and me. We miss our UNT student being down the hall in her room, but seeing her on campus and having the opportunity to see some of the things she sees every day was reassuring. We are all still trying to adjust but I have no doubt that she made the right choice with UNT."
"My children were able to enjoy the game and the activities before the game together. We were able to converse in a relaxed environment without the pressures of being alone that can sometimes occur when a child begins to gain independence of her family."

North Texas Football Game

Family Weekend ticket holders enter through Gate 3. Family Weekend tickets are issued for "the Wing" located in the general admission section. The winner of the Tuition Draw will be announced at halftime.

Parking on Saturday

Family Weekend participants can park for free on campus with the exception of
parking garages, reserved spaces, metered spaces, and game day pay-lots. There are game day pay-lots off Bonnie Brae Street near Apogee Stadium, and the Fouts Field parking lot is a pay-lot on game days with easy access to the pedestrian bridge.

Registration for Family Weekend DOES NOT enable you to park for free in the “pay-lots”. If you choose to park in these locations, you will need to pay to park.

ADA parking is located in the west section of the Fouts Field parking lot. A valid disabled parking placard or license plate is required to park in this area. North Texas runs a shuttle service for fans with disabilities from the ADA parking lot to Apogee Stadium beginning four hours prior to kickoff. Before the game, shuttles run from the ADA parking lot to Apogee’s Gate 2 and to the Red-Blue lots for tailgating. After the game, shuttles pick up ONLY at Gate 2 and return to the ADA lot.

There is no post-game pickup from the tailgating areas. The shuttle is designated for those who require assistance and one guest. We ask that those who are able to walk please use the pedestrian bridge from the Fouts parking lot to the stadium and allow those that need assistance the opportunity to use the shuttle.
