The Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) is intended to help student parents to persist with their course of study and graduate as soon as possible.

If you are a student and have dependents who need child care while you attend the University of North Texas, you may be eligible for a grant that can be applied to your monthly child care expenses. Eligibility will be determined based on the information you provide on the application and from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) that you filled out when you first applied for financial aid.

Funds will be disbursed to you directly to help cover your child care costs each semester.  The child care provider you use must be licensed by the State of Texas and must be in good standing with the state throughout the time that funds are received. Students who receive the support of these funds must remain in good academic standing at UNT. Funding will be available each semester and is expected to continue through Spring 2013.

The current CCAMPIS grant cycle has ended.

10/16/2013 - We regret to inform you that UNT did not receive CCAMPIS grant funding for 2013-2014. Please see Off-Campus Student Services' Family Resources page for child care resources and assistance, and in particular the information about UNT's contract with a resource and referral service that can conduct a search seeking child care programs offering care as close as possible to your requested budget range.
