Eligibility
Who is eligible for the new CCAMPIS grant?
- U.S citizen or permanent resident
- For Undergraduates-Pell Grant eligible
- Graduate Students
- Claimed a dependent or dependents on last year’s tax return
- Dependent or dependents are all under the age of 12
- Dependent is a Texas resident
- Dependent lives with the UNT student parent no less than 75% of the time while the parent is enrolled in school
- Currently enrolled at UNT*
- Undergraduates: 2.0 GPA or greater
- Graduate: Maintain minimum program required GPA^
- Provide evidence of having academic advising for each semester for which I receive the CCAMPIS grant.
- Graduate Students who have been PELL eligible undergraduates, other factors will be taken into consideration
- Dependent or dependents are in a licensed daycare center
*Preference will be given to undergraduate students enrolled in 12 or more hours in the Fall and Spring semesters and 6 or more hours during the summer at UNT.
*Preference will be given to Graduate students enrolled in 9 or more hours in the Fall and/or Spring semester and 6 or more hours during the summer at UNT.
^Please Note: This required GPA varies from program to program. Contact specific degree program for more information.
