LAS CRUCES – N.M. – Powered by Eji Kwon, the North Texas women’s golf team moved up the leaderboard at the final day of the Price’s Give Em Give Intercollegiate. Kwon shot and even-par 72, her second lowest round of the year, and finished in a tie for 32nd place.

Freshman Kalli Jennings and Samantha Huang finished tied for 49^th place. Jennings shot an 81 in the final round, but did have an eagle 2 on the par-4 first hole to highlight her round.

Huang had two birdies on the day en route to a final round of 5-over par 77. Abbi Shaddix was one stroke behind the pair in a tie for 54^th place.

She posted a third-round score of 6-over par 78 while Nyca Khaw matched that final round score of 78 and finished tied for 60^th place.

The Mean Green as a team were able to slide up to 11^th place overall after shooting a final round of 305.

North Texas has one final tournament in the fall, October 25-27 at the 36^th annual Pat Bradley Invitational.
