I-45 (FM 518 to FM 1764)
The scope of this study is 7.5 miles of Interstate Highway (IH) 45 from Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 518 to
FM 1764.

Proposed Improvements
Proposed improvements include the following:
- Widen the existing 6-lane freeway to 8-lanes
- Widen shoulders
- Reconstruct existing two-lane frontage roads
- Approximately 11.3 acres of new right-of-way is proposed
- No residences would be displaced
