FAQ

Where are you located?
Patient Care Center-3rd and 4th floors

What are your hours?
8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. (Monday through Friday)
Phones answered 8:00-5:00 Answering Service available after hours
 
Do you have any other locations in the metroplex?
Yes, UNT Health at Alliance, 12650 N. Beach, Suite 148, Fort Worth, 76244 in the Saratoga Marketplace at the corner of Alta Vista and Beach, just north of Timberland Blvd. 
 
Where should I park?
Patient parking is free in Lot C just behind the Patient Care Center (see map). Park at any blue curb (marked "clinic") and enter building on the north side.
 
What hospitals are you affiliated with?
Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth, John Peter Smith, Kindred Hospital, Harris Methodist, Baylor All Saints. Many faculty physicians have privileges at other area hospitals as well.
 
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and visa/MasterCard. We participate with most HMO, PPO, and commercial insurance programs. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and CHAMPUS assignments.
 
Do you file my insurance, or do I have to?
As a courtesy, we file claims on your behalf.
 
Do you charge for a no show?
No, but please be courteous and call the clinic as far in advance as possible if you will not be able to keep an appointment so another patient can be scheduled.
 
Do you have a nurse on call, if I have questions after I leave?
Nurses are available to address inquiries during business hours.
 
How are emergencies handled after hours?
Calls are forwarded to a 24-hour answering service.
 
Do you have a wheelchair to help me from my car to the office or vice-versa?
Yes, assistance can be provided upon request.
 
Is there anyone in the office that is bilingual or multilingual?
Yes, interpreters are available upon request.
 
What is the age range of the patients you see?
Typically 18 and up but some specialists will accommodate children upon request.
 
Are you seeing new patients?
Yes, we are accepting new patients.
 
How soon can I be seen?
Scheduling varies according to subspecialties.
 
What is your policy for releasing records?
All medical records are property of the clinic. If medical records need to be released, we will ask you to sign a written request for these records to be copied and mailed to a requested party.
