Old Faithful Virtual Visitor Center
The new Old Faithful Visitor Education Center tells the story of Yellowstone's hydrothermal wonders. You can get a head start by exploring the exhibits and interactive media in this virtual version. Old Faithful Geyser Live!

Welcome to one of the most famous geysers in the world. This live, streaming webcam offers real-time views of geysers and wildlife within the Upper Geyser Basin. To view the new Old Faithful streaming webcam, you will need the latest version of the free Flash player.

 

Interactive Google Map

For visitors unable to physically visit the Nez Perce National Historic Trail, the option is now available for them to travel the entire length of the NPNHT using Google Maps and Google Earth. The map provides details the 1877 flight of the Nez Perce from their homelands along a 1,170-mile-journey that passes through Yellowstone National Park.

Even though the animals of Yellowstone seem tame they are still wild. Feeding the animals is not permitted in any way, and all visitors must keep 100 yards away from wolves and bears, and 25 yards from other animals.
