PIV Badge Information
Starting January 29th, 2013 you will be required to use your PIV card (HHS
ID Badge) to log into Windows computers at the FNLCR. (The PIV login requirement
does not apply to Mac computer login, Windows servers, or AA accounts at this time.)
In preparation for this transition, a warning message will begin to appear January
8, 2013, if you log into your Windows computer with your username and password instead
of your PIV card and PIN.

Blood Pressure Clinic
OHS invites you to have your Blood Pressure checked every Tuesday and Thursday,
from 12:30-1:00 p.m. This is a walk-in clinic with no need for an appointment. If
you have concerns or just want to know your numbers, we invite you to stop by our
office located in Bldg. 426.

Microsoft Exchange 2010 Upgrade - 11/14/2012
Beginning Wednesday evening, November 14th at 6:00pm through Thursday morning, November
15th at 5:00am, FNLCR email boxes will be upgraded to Microsoft Exchange 2010. This
will be a rolling upgrade, meaning a single user mailbox is expected to be unavailable
for no more than 15 minutes during this 11-hour period. The upgrade to Exchange
2010 will provide enhanced features, highlighted below – including an improved Email
Web Access experience.
To ensure a seamless migration, please close your email prior to the upgrade. If
not, you may need to restart your email software after the upgrade is complete.
You may continue to use your mobile device (including Blackberry, iPhone, iPad,
and others) for email during the upgrade, but your new messages will be delayed
while your mailbox is moved to the new server. If you have any questions about the
migration to Exchange 2010, please contact the Frederick Helpdesk at 301-846-5115
or fredhelpdesk@nih.gov.

New Shuttle Service to the Advanced Technology Research Facility
There is a new shuttle services to the ATRF. Be advised that employees are not permitted
to transport any company materials in their personal vehicle, regardless of hazard
status. Passengers shall be prohibited from carrying biological, chemical, and radiological
packages onto the shuttle.
