---
This report contains descriptive statistics about fatal, injury, and property damage-only crashes involving large trucks. Selected crash statistics on passenger vehicles are also presented for comparison purposes.
Large Truck Crash Overview
2010
---
---
---
---
This publication provides an overview of large truck crash data by trends, vehicles, drivers and crash environment.
Environmental Costs of CMV Crashes
March 2007
---
---
---
The purpose of this report is to provide FMCSA with estimates for its environmental analyses comparable to those currently being used by the agency for its economic analyses. These environmental estimates, along with the included descriptions of the methodologies upon which they are based, will enable FMCSA to describe the inherent links between CMV safety and environmental protection.

The Large Truck Crash Causation Study
---
---
---
---
---
This study is based on a three-year data collection project conducted by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). LTCCS is the first-ever national study to attempt to determine the critical events and associated factors that contribute to serious large truck crashes allowing DOT and others to implement effective countermeasures to reduce the occurrence and severity of these crashes.
