Target Goals:

By the end of the 2013 school year, Antilles High School will increase the percentage of
students scoring "at or above standard" by 5% over the 2011-2012 school year in critical
reading.

Instructional Intervention - Vocabulary as an Element of Close Reading
By 2013 Antilles High School will increase the percentage of students scoring "at or above
standard" by 5% over the percent of students scoring "at or above standard" in the 2011-
2012 school year in written communication skills as measured by selected system-wide and
local assessments.

Instructional Intervention - 6+1 Traits of Writing

Local Assessment

All ELA classes (9th – 12th ) will complete the diagnostic reading and writing assessment, and Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI) to measure progress toward Goal #1 and Goal #2 at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year (pre, mid, post)
