The primary source for information on all active Coast Guard regulatory projects is the Unified Agenda (UA) and the Semi-Annual Regulatory Plan (Regulatory Plan) published by the Office of Management and Budget. The most recent and historical versions of the UA and Regulatory Plan are available at www.reginfo.gov.
Unified Agenda
The UA publishes each spring and fall and provides uniform reporting of regulatory and deregulatory activities under development throughout the Federal government. The UA lists all active projects, which are projects in the pre-rule and proposed rules stages, completed actions, and long-term actions. Each listed action provides the project description, history and timetables, and other relevant information.
Semi-Annual Regulatory Plan
The Regulatory Plan publishes as part of the fall edition of the UA and identifies each agency's regulatory priorities and provides additional details for those priority projects.
