The whistles were blowing in the background as Antonio Andrews took a quick break from practice Tuesday afternoon for the phone interview session.
"I'veĀ got to get back out there," Andrews said, apologizing for having to cut the interview short.
It's understandable why he was needed back on the practice field.
Andrews, who was born in Enterprise and spent his early childhood there, does a little bit of everything for Western Kentucky.
Going into Thursday night's showdown at Troy, Andrews ranks first in the Sun Belt Conference in rushing (108.4 yards per game), first in all-purpose yards (213 per game), tied for second in TDs (7), tied for third in scoring (8.4 points per game), second in punt returns (14.4) and fourth in kickoff returns (24.7 average).
