Falcons Fall to County Rival; District Games Ahead

District play begins this week in high school football and Fort Campbell is looking to get off to a good start.

Fort Campbell (3-2) will face 3A foe Trigg County (3-1) Friday evening in Cadiz.

Trigg is on a three-game win streak and its only loss of the year came was a 25-14 decision to Russellville on Aug. 17, the same Russellville squad Fort Campbell defeated 34-27 one week later.

The Wildcats feature a fairly balanced offensive attack led by quarterback Luke McKenzie, who has thrown for 498 yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions. He’s also run the ball 25 times for 147 yards and three scores.  Continue reading
