Supporting projects to develop, test and replicate technologies that enable programs to improve client access to high quality assistance in the full range of legal services, and to improve program efficiency.
To improve access to civil legal assistance for low-income Americans, the Legal Services Corporation (LSC) has announced new technology grants to increase access to Web-based resources, enhance pro bono, expand websites for veterans and disaster recovery, and – a new category this year – improve data collection and analysis.
LSC’s Technology Initiative Grants (TIG) Conference was held January 16 – 18, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. The TIG Conference is the only national event focused exclusively on the use of technology in the legal aid community. Over 170 people attended this year's conference.
