Many employment options available to postdocs
Postdocs with less than one year of Laboratory service are considered external job applicants. They may apply for advertised "Open to All" staff positions.
Postdocs who have completed the first year of their appointments are considered internal job applicants. They may apply for advertised "LANL Only" staff positions.
The following options in seeking employment are available:
- Postdocs may apply for specific advertised staff positions. Find available positions (LANL job postings), further instructions
- Postdocs may be converted to regular or limited-term staff after the first year of their appointment.
- Any group or division may convert a postdoc from either within or outside of the division without the position being advertised.
