Valuation of Lake Resources through Hedonic Pricing
This report was prepared as part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) Evaluation and Formulation of Environmental Projects Work Unit, within the Planning Methodologies Research Program. (The)Value and Depreciation of Existing Facilities: The Case of Reservoirs
The value of an asset is determined by the net economic value of its production over time. this value is summarized by the net present value of all present and future production. Change in asset value, depreciation or appreciation, result from both changes in the economic value of each unit of production and the asset physical productivity. A theory of depreciation expressing this approach is derived from first principles of engineering economics. The theory is illustrated for the case of water resource reservoirs.

Value of Time Saved for Use in Corps Planning Studies: a Review of the Literature and Recommendations
The value of time saved is an important component in water resources planning studies. It is used for evaluating benefits of projects that reduce the travel time between origins and destinations. Conversely, it is also used to calculate additional National Economic Development costs that construction of a project may incur, via increasing travel time through traffic delays.

Valuing Urban Wetlands: A Property Pricing Approach
This study was conducted as part of the Evaluation of Environmental Investments Research Program (EEIRP). The EEIRP is sponsored by Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (HQUSACE). It is jointly assigned to the U.S. Army Engineers Water Resources Support Center (WRSC), Institute for Water Resources (IWR), and the U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station (WES), Environmental Laboratory (EL). This volume relates the mathematical equations for flow in natural channels to the physical process. The most common method for solving these basic equations, the standard step method, is developed for complex cross sections using techniques which are suitable for both hand and computer calculations.
