Uniform for military is ACU; all Civilians is business casual.

Meals

A buffet lunch, within the per diem rate, will be available at the Kansas City Marriott Hotel on a pay-as-you-go basis.  The hotel will also provide shuttle service to and from Zona Rosa each evening.  http://www.zonarosa.com/

Event parking is located in the parking lot adjacent to the Kansas City Airport Marriott.

Event Classification

The primary classification level will be UNCLASS.

The Agile Process Synchronization Conference is sponsored by the Mission Command Center of Excellence (MC CoE), at Fort Leavenworth, KS.  This is a semi-annual conference conducted to help effectively plan future Army network integration. Conference attendees will participate in outcome-driven working groups. The structure for the conference is still under development, so check back  regularly  as this  website is updated with the latest information.

Purpose

This conference builds upon existing TRADOC Capability Manager Synchronization forums (TCM Sync Conferences) and expands to link the requirements, acquisition, and resourcing communities, as well as enable decisions regarding relevant Agile Process, Network Integration Evaluation (NIE), and capability set / capability package implementation topics/issues.

Who Should Attend

In general terms, appropriate personnel in the Army requirements community, the acquisition community, the research and development community, and Army staff and, in some cases, industry.

Key Tasks

  1. Agile Process Gaps and Opportunities Memo for Network Integration Evaluation (NIE) 13.1
  2. Finalize TRADOC DOTMLPF Way Forward document for the NSWG that kicks off the following week
  3. Ops/Intel Convergence/Collapse Strategy/Execution
  4. CP Strategy/Funding (Direction for JCIDS documentation, Path forward for EMPRS, funding in POM, sustainment, OTM funding/resourcing)

Conference Agenda

For planning purposes, the final day of the conference will conclude once all deliverables are completed - currently scheduled for 1200 hrs, January 20, 2012. Attendees must be authorized to speak for and be empowered to make decisions on behalf of their respective organization. The agenda is currently being coordinated with the community of interest and will be distributed once finalized.
