Defense and National Security
A strong national defense is essential not only to our national security but to our future prosperity. As threats and challenges to our nation have changed, our defense and foreign policy apparatus have struggled to adjust. Today we spend billions on weapons and programs that were designed to fight enemies that are no longer a threat to us and in some cases no longer exist.
That is why I support a strong, robust national defense that puts America’s needs and interests first. As a Congressman I will work to reform government procurement programs to bring needed technology to our soldiers in the field faster and at a lower cost while working to cut a bloated foreign policy bureaucracy that no longer serves our national interest.
