SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH

Safety and Occupational Health (Workplace Safety) programs are part of the Army Safety Program which fulfills the OSHA requirements as they apply to Soldiers and Army civilians performing their non-combat role during garrison and industrial operations.

POLICY		INDUSTRIAL SAFETY
	Required and related publications which establish the overarching policy and procedures for implementing the Army Safety & Occupational Health program.		Information & resources on workplace hazards within industrial operations in order to reduce the risk of work-related injuries, prevent accidents, and promote safe working conditions.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH		EMERGENCY PLANNING & RESPONSE
	Guidance on prevention of work-related health hazards (chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic) which may result in adverse health effects. Occupational Health programs reduce the risk of illness and injury while promoting a healthy workplace.		Information & resources on emergency planning and response in order to protect life, health, property, and to restore to normal operations as soon as possible after man-made or natural disaster.
