Printing GEOPAK Staking Reports with UltraEdit

With the recent introduction of new printers in the office, the traditional printing utility GeoReport has been replaced.  Apparently the GeoReport programming code is outdated and incompatible with the newer printers.

A new printing application, WFLHD XS Reports Printing has been developed that is compatible with the older printers and the new printers.

NOTE:  WFLHD XS Reports Printing requires that UltraEdit version 13.10 or higher is installed on your PC. If your version of UltraEdit is older than 13.10, please contact the WFLHD Service Desk.

Printing can be accomplished both inside and outside of ProjectWise.

Printing within ProjectWise:

When accessing the staking notes files through ProjectWise, special UltraEdit printing macros will execute automatically when the file is opened. Simply double click the staking notes file to print, (from inside ProjectWise). Once the file is opened, select File > Print (from inside UltraEdit).

Printing outside of ProjectWise:

When printing outside of ProjectWise, WFLHD XS Reports Printing should be available on your desktop.   If this application is not installed on your PC... please call the WFLHD Service Desk.

  2. Select the type of file to filter by clicking on a white radio button. In my example above, I have checked on the Slope Stakes radio button. Press the Process Request button. When the Process Request button is pressed, a browsing window will appear as shown below. Browse to the desired folder location. Note that the only files that will be visible are those with the matching file extensions from the radio button selected from the WFLHD XS Reports Printing dialog.
