HROM offers position classification services that provide timely and accurate advisory services to a variety of USMC commands. The areas advised upon are classifications under the General Schedule (GS) and the Federal Wage System (FWS). One of the Classification services HROM offers is assistance in the Classification Appeal process. Only certain portions of a position classification can be appealed, they are: Pay plan (e.g., GS), Title (e.g., Management Analyst), Series (e.g., 0343), and Grade (e.g., 12.)
