Federal Partnership for Green Data Centers

The Federal Partnership for Green Data Centers meets periodically. Please see the FEMP Calendar of Events for details on future meetings.

The Federal Partnership for Green Data Centers was created in 2009 to advance the energy efficiency and renewable energy use goals of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA 2007) as they relate to data centers. The group also works to reduce the Federal Government's cost burden by promoting data center energy efficiency.

The group meets these goals by facilitating communication between member agencies. Specifically, it works to spread best practices for data center energy efficiency across the Federal Government.
