… where CISSP certification is required!

Walsh College presents Michigan’s only official  (ISC)² CISSP Review Course.  CISSP certification is the industry gold standard and recognizes an extensive body of knowledge. The seminar is taught in modules by Walsh faculty and professional experts, specially trained in the CISSP CBK, and featuring a variety of teaching styles as well as Walsh’s signature practical application approach to the classroom experience.

As a Department of Homeland Security Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education, Walsh College is uniquely qualified to offer the seminar. The Master of Science in Information Assurance is one of few around the country mapping to five of the six standards used by the National Security Agency and DHS.

Students in the CISSP Exam Review course do not have to be registered to take the CISSP exam. According to the (ISC)² Web site: CISSP® candidates must meet the following requirements prior to taking the CISSP examination:

- Subscribe to the (ISC)² Code of Ethics.
- The minimum professional experience requirement for CISSP certification will be five years of relevant work experience in two or more of the 10 domains of the CISSP CBK, or four years of work experience with an applicable college degree or a credential from the (ISC)2-approved list. Candidates for any (ISC)2 credential will be required to obtain an endorsement of their candidature exclusively from an (ISC)2-certified professional in good standing. The professional endorsing the candidate can hold any (ISC)2 certification – CISSP, SSCP or CAP. Questions? Please visit https://www.isc2.org/cgi-bin/content.cgi?page=1227 or contact us at service@isc2.org.
