The 46th district spans Santa Ana, Anaheim, and parts of Garden Grove and Orange in Orange County, California. Orange County is located approximately 30 miles south of downtown Los Angeles and 90 miles north of San Diego.
Anaheim is the home of Disneyland, California Adventure Theme Park and Knott’s Berry Farm. These attractions make the city a premier destination for family-friendly entertainment. Anaheim is home to the Major League Baseball team Anaheim Angels and the National Hockey League the Anaheim Ducks.
Santa Ana houses Santa Ana College, California Coast University, and the Orange County branch of the Art Institute of California. Be sure to stop by the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park.
Orange is home to Chapman University and is unusual in that many of the homes in its Old Town District were built prior to 1920.
Garden Grove is one of the most diverse communities in the country, with significant Arab, Vietnamese, Korean, and Hispanic-American populations. Make sure to visit the Little Saigon and Korea town sections of Garden Grove.
