Welcome to Fort Rucker Primary School! We are delighted to have the opportunity to share your children with you and we hope to make the transition easy and pleasant for everyone!
Our school hours are 8:30-11:00 and 12:30-3:00 for preschool and 8:15-3:00 for kindergarten through first grade. Wednesdays have earlier dismissals to provide for teacher inservices and meetings. All students on post are bussed and we urge you to take advantage of this. Our drivers do a wonderful job getting all our children safely to and from school. You will be receiving information specific to your child’s grade and class from the teacher as well as general school information in our Parent Handbook, which can also be found online.
At FRPS, we are proud to serve our military families and will support you in any way possible. We ask that you please make us aware of deployments or family emergencies so we can assist your child as needed. In recent parent surveys, over 99% of our parents responding said they felt their children were safe and secure here and were receiving an excellent education. We hope you feel the same and will work diligently to achieve that goal! If you have any questions or concerns, I am always available to you. Please call 598-4473 and if I cannot take the call I will return it as soon as possible.
