The mission of the PEA is to discuss school related issues and advise the principal. The committee then disseminates the information and coordinates with all community resources in an effort to support the educational programs of the school for our students.

The PEA makes recommendations and advises the principal on:

school policies, student activities, and administrative procedures
instructional programs and educational resources within the school
allocation of resources within the school to achieve educational goals
administrative and logistical support services provided by the installation commander and applicable service commands.

The PEA does not address matters pertaining to personnel policies or practices, compensation of school staff, grievances of school employees, or internal management of Quantico Middle/High School or its programs.

School Board members are actively involved military community members who demonstrate interest in one of the most vital aspects of our American way of life - the education of our young people.

The Quantico School Board "next" meeting location is set at each meeting and can change monthly.

Responsibilities of a DDESS School Board

Volunteering

Volunteers must complete a DD Form 2793, Volunteer Agreement for Appropriated Fund Activities and Non appropriated Fund Instrumentalities, in accordance with DoD Instruction 1100.21, Voluntary Services in the Department of Defense and the School Volunteer Application, Enclosure 2 of DoDEA AI 4700.3, Application and Background Checks for DoDEA School Volunteers and Student Teachers.
