About Us This site was designed and informed by VA clinicians and staff at the National Center for PTSD and Office of Mental Health Services.
On this website, we have collected key tools for working with Veterans – and some new tools. This includes easy to access information about how to partner with VA, understanding military culture, as well as tools for working with a variety of mental health difficulties. The primary content development team consisted of a group of psychologists at the Dissemination and Training Division of the National Center for PTSD. The National Center for PTSD is a VA center of excellence for research and education on the prevention, understanding, and treatment of PTSD. The purpose of the National Center for PTSD is to improve the well-being and understanding of Veterans who have served our country. The team included: Shannon McCaslin, Ph.D.; Josef Ruzek, Ph.D.; Sara J. Landes, Ph.D.; Shana Spangler, Psy.D.; Pamela Swales, Ph.D.; Jacy Leonardo, Ph.D.; Patricia Watson, Ph.D.; Robyn Walser, Ph.D. The team worked in conjunction with a number of other individuals and agencies to create a useful resource for providers in the community. The team would like to thank these individuals and agencies, including:
We welcome the opportunity to partner with you to improve the health and well-being of the men and women who have selflessly served our country.
