Army Distributed Learning System (DLS) provides training for Soldiers and units, anytime... anywhere:
Digital Training Facility (DTF), Building 302 (backside of library) Two classrooms each have 16 computer work stations for soldiers and DA civilians; individual or group training; job or skill development. High-speed internet access, and computer based training, soldiers and civilians can train when it fits their professional needs and personal schedules. Contact the DTF Manager to schedule your collective training. Individual training can be conducted by scheduling time in the DTF or you may walk-in at any time the DTF is open and not scheduled.
The Humphreys DTF can support a wide variety of Soldier training events. The Humphreys DTF is available for Soldier training support 24/7 - at no cost the user. The Humphreys DTF contains the following training support capabilities.
- 16 high speed fully internet connected workstations.
- A multi-display Projector and Screen - integrated to a Tandberg Video TeleTraining (VTT) system.
- Capability, via the VTT system, to connect to hundreds of training locations around the world.
- A VCR - integrated into the VTT system.
- A Document Cam - integrated into the VTT system.
- An automated Student Cam and Microphones - integrated into the VTT system to allow communications between the distant instructor and students.
- A high speed Network Printer with Scan, Fax, Document Sending features.
