Research Partners

NOAA Partners:

National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS) provides technical support for reserve-based environmental monitoring.
National Geodetic Service (NGS) provides spatial reference information and equipment to support reserves' mapping and long-term monitoring programs.
Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS) provides equipment and technical expertise for tides, current, water level, and other coastal oceanographic products and services.
Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) partners in data management, weather and air quality, climate, and coastal resources.
National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) partners in resource conservation and management of living marine resources.

Other Partners:

Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS), is a federal, regional, and private-sector partnership working to enhance our ability to collect, deliver, and use ocean information.
Centralized Data Management Office (CDMO) at the University of South Carolina manages the basic infrastructure and data protocols to support the assimilation and exchange of Reserve System data, metadata and information.
