Through this alliance, partners provide training that builds the capacity of teachers to use information and communication technologies as a pedagogical tool to enhance teaching and learning at the classroom-level.

The Global Framework between USAID and Intel Corporation focuses on increasing access to computers; expanding wireless broadband Internet; preparing teachers and students for success in the global economy; and accelerating development of localized content.

Inclusive Market Alliance  for Rural Entrepreneurs
Through the Inclusive Market Alliance for Rural Entrepreneurs (IMARE), USAID, Walmart, Mercy Corps and local partners joined together to improve agricultural market opportunities. Partners work together to collaborate closely with Fundación AGIL, a local NGO, to provide technical assistance to 25 groups of farmers in three regions of Guatemala.

HIV/AIDS Youth Prevention Alliance
Since 2005, USAID, Johnson & Johnson, HealthRight International, and local partner Doctors to Children have been collaborating on a community reintegration and HIV awareness program for vulnerable youth in St. Petersburg. With support from the St. Petersburg City Administration, the alliance established a municipal drop-in center and an overnight shelter for HIV-positive street youth.

Sonatel Foundation Girls Scholarship Program

Sonatel Foundation Girls Scholarship Program
USAID and the Sonatel Foundation are partnering on a five-year allliance to provide 300 scholarships to Senegalese girls in high school. Recipients are selected from disadvantaged families in rural communities where there are often no schools beyond primary grade levels.

Entra21 Alliance

Easy Seva Alliance

Easy Seva Alliance
The Easy Seva Partnership innovated a “Telecenter-in-a-Box” franchise model, which provided local entrepreneurs with all the equipment and resources needed for setting up a successful business. Four personal computers, headsets, a router, and a 3G modem lay the groundwork for entrepreneurs to open an internet center in targeted villages and communities.
