Administration
The Academy was first conceived back in the late 1800s. It was originally designed as a cadet program with formal studies and examinations, which were administered onboard a vessel. Things have changed over the last century. The Academy now lies next to the Thames River in New London, Connecticut. It was purchased for $100,000 and its first buildings were constructed in 1931. Since then, it has been developed into a 4-year program heavily emphasizing math and science. It also requires an incredibly dedicated staff of civilian and military personnel. From Finances to Admissions, the Buildings of Administration keep the Reservation functioning.
