36TH ENGINEER BRIGADE FRG

The meaning and duty of a Family Readiness Group (FRG) is to provide a network of communication among family members, the chain of command, and Fort Hood resources.

We are committed to building a strong and cohesive family structure to support our soldiers and their families. Our monthly meetings allow family members to gather information, solve problems and maintain a system of mutual support. As members of the 36th Engineer Brigade Family readiness Group (FRG), we are dedicated to supporting our family members, especially during the current deployment. One of the best ways to cope with a separation from our loved ones is to stay informed and stay connected with other spouses in the same predicament.

The goals of the Family Readiness Group are:

  • Integrating all family members into the unit family and support system.
  • Reducing social isolation.
  • Providing close personal support.
  • Assist in gathering and disseminating information and identifying resources.
  • Facilitating and establishing a sense of community, and enhancing a feeling of belonging, control, self-reliance, and self-esteem.

Our HHC, 36th Engineer Brigade Family Readiness Group meetings are held on the 1ST Tuesday of the month at the Family Readiness Center Building #10040 at the corner of Battalion and 25th.
