The United States Embassy Condemns the Assassination of Ahmed Wali Karzai

The United States condemns in the strongest terms the murder of Ahmed Wali Karzai, the head of the Kandahar Provincial Council and brother of President Karzai.  We extend our condolences to the people of Kandahar and to the family of Mr. Karzai.
