| On Time for Recovery, based in Denver, Colorado, is a non-profit tax exempt 501(c)(3) charity that distributes watches at no cost to people experiencing homelessness. On Time for Recovery, through its distribution of watches, advocates and promotes a recovery model. Recovery from poverty and homelessness is possible when people are given tools and empowered to help themselves. The receipt of a timepiece promotes the importance of time and enables people to be on time to jobs, appointments, clinics, meals, shelters and public transportation. On Time for Recovery also acknowledges that a significant percentage of the homeless population has mental health problems; therefore, On Time for Recovery performs outreach and distribution of mental health resource lists. |
