Message from the Director
The DPW is the garrison’s primary element for maintenance of the
installation infrastructure and environment. The DPW consists of six divisions the
Engineering Division, the Operations & Maintenance
Division, the Environmental Division, the Housing Division, the Master
Planning Division, and the Business Management Division. The Engineering
Division is responsible for the planning and estimating of all infrastructure
improvement and maintenance programs. The Operations and Maintenance
Division is responsible for the actual maintenance and improvement of
the installation property, buildings and facilities, DPW supply, Self-Help
stores, and engineer equipment. The Environmental Division is responsible
for the oversight of the installation environmental assets. The division
ensures compliance with environmental policy, programs and legislation,
manages the Region Environmental Program in support of the Army's environmental
strategy for pollution prevention, compliance, restoration and conservation
(including Recycling program), provides technical assistance to assigned
installations, provides consultant assistance on environmental effects
of all activities related to real property and installation management.
The Housing Division manages all garrison housing programs and facilities
to include oversight of the Residential Community Initiative (RCI) contract.
The Master Planning Division plans all new construction and improvement
to installation facilities and grounds. The Business Operations and Integration
Division provides resource management, annual work plan and prioritization,
and human resource management. |
