Chief David B. Miller is the Wing Command Chief at the 185th Air Refueling Wing, Iowa Air National Guard, Sioux City, Iowa. In this role he is the senior enlisted representative to the Commander. He advises the commander and staff on matters influencing the health, welfare, morale, and effective utilization of assigned enlisted personnel.
Chief Miller enlisted in the Iowa Air National Guard in 1975. Following basic training at Lockland AFB, Texas and Munitions Maintenance technical school at Lowry AFB, Colorado, he returned to the 185th Tactical Fighter Group Maintenance Squadron in Sioux City. He deployed to a variety of locations including Panama, Canada, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Hawaii, and Kgyrkistan. He held several positions within Aircraft Maintenance including his most recent assignment as the Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent. Chief Miller has experience on F-100, A-7D/K, F-16C and KC-135 aircraft.
