Raising the Roof
Raising the Roof is Canada's only national charity dedicated to long-term solutions to homelessness. We:
Raise funds for local, grassroots agencies working to alleviate homelessness in their communities, through our National Annual Toque Campaign.
Raise awareness among Canadians about the true nature of homelessness through initiatives such as our Hidden Homelessness Campaign. Planning is underway for a National Public Education Campaign on youth homelessness.
Build partnerships by giving people, corporations and organizations the opportunity to participate in solutions. Since 2006, through our Youthworks initiative, we have engaged Canadians – including government, researchers, community agencies, youth and the private sector/unions – in the pursuit of lasting solutions to youth homelessness.
