L470 (Langwiedener Str.) Closure Begins Feb. 18
A part of L470 (Langwiedener Strasse) is scheduled to be closed for construction beginning Feb. 18. This construction will not affect traffic exiting Gate 4. Residents living in the Atzel will still be able to use the entrance/exit onto the Atzel across from Gate 5. Individuals traveling from LRMC to the city of Landstuhl will have to exit through Gate 4 and then use the Autobahn, or exit through Gate 3 and then use L470 going past the Heliport/Satcom Site. For individuals living in the Melkerei and Bann, it is recommended to use the Autobahn. People should plan for delays. The project is expected to last for approximately six months.
