Ms. Debra (Debbie) Zedalis was promoted to Senior Executive Service and assumed position of Director, Installation Management Command, Pacific Region (IMCOM-Pacific), on June 10, 2007. As Director of IMCOM-Pacific, she is responsible for installation management activities in the Pacific Region (Alaska, Hawaii, Japan and Korea).

Ms. Zedalis manages a regional staff of approximately 170 military and civilian personnel who provide oversight of a myriad of multi-million dollar base operation support programs. IMCOM-Pacific operations include management of active and reserve component installations providing support for approximately 180,000 Soldiers, family members, retirees, and civilians, as well as oversight of an annual budget exceeding $1.170 billion for programs that include Appropriated Funds, Nonappropriated Funds, Defense Environment Restoration Funds, Army Family Housing funds and other appropriations. She oversees 1.9 million acres of land and 90 million square feet of facilities and annual contracts totaling in excess of $440 million. There are 11,547 Family Housing Units that encompass 962 leases. The Pacific Region also includes 413 Unaccompanied Personnel Housing buildings that provide 40,413 living spaces.

Prior to this assignment, Ms. Zedalis was the Deputy to the Garrison Commander at West Point, NY. Before that assignment, Ms. Zedalis was a student at the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA, where she graduated with a master's degree in Strategic Studies.

Before attending the US Army War College, Ms. Zedalis was the chief of staff for the Installation Management Agency, Europe Region, which is located in Heidelberg, Germany. Ms. Zedalis worked for the US Army in Europe beginning in 1988, serving as chief of the Management Division, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management, as well as chief of the Installation Management Support Division, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel and Installation Management. Prior to her European assignment, Ms. Zedalis worked at the US Army Armor Center and Fort Knox as a program analyst and manpower analyst.

Ms. Zedalis holds a master's degree in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College, a master's degree in Business Administration from Syracuse University and a bachelor of arts in Managerial Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the Alpha of Kentucky Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.

Throughout her 30-plus years of employment with the US Army, she has attended many Army schools and has several Army awards. Those awards include the Commander's Award for Civilian Service and two Superior Civilian Service Awards.
