110th Air Operations Group
Welcome to the 110th Air Operations Group!
The 110th AOG uses a unique organizational structure to provide critical support to the 17th Air Force, also known as U.S. Air Forces Africa, located at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. The 17th Air Force is the air component to U.S. Africa Command, the newest unified combatant command.
The 110th AOG's five squadrons encompass a wide array of career fields, combining medical, communications, logistics, operations and planning in a largely self-contained package. Unlike many Air National Guard units, the 110th AOG does not have a "stand-alone" role, instead we are an integral part of the 17th Air Force and provide essential assistance so that they can complete their mission.
Our members serve here in Battle Creek, in Germany, and all over Africa. Typical missions include: training and coordination exercises with African partners, humanitarian assistance, engaging senior leaders, and providing logistical support for overseas contingency operations.
